Uses for Mooses, and Other (Silly) Observations. By Bill Silliker, Jr. This is a silly and funny book, but at the same time it illustrates moose behavior and habitat requirements.

Honk the Moose. By Phil Stong. A classic book based on a true story of a moose who moved into a barn in Minnesota.

Moose. By Anthony D. Fredericks, John F. McGee. A good introduction to what makes a moose a moose.

Deer. Mary Berendes. An introduction to deer habitat, characteristics and behavior.

The Great Turkey Walk. Kathleen Karr. This story of a young man who decides to herd 1,000 turkeys 900 miles to sell at market in the 1860s is a fun book, and based on fact.

Wild Turkeys: Hunting and Watching. John J. Mettler. An interesting book about turkey habitat and habits for hunters and viewers alike.
